Recreation Improvements

As a resident or visitor of Lyon Township, we want you to know that we have been working on improvements to the township parks and continue to listen to our citizens of the Lyon township community.

Update: NOV 27, 2017

PARK IMPROVEMENTS: 

The Township has added two new tennis/pickle ball courts to Park 27. Grooming capabilities obtained for Winter Trails and we are continuing to work on grants for upcoming projects.The new ice rink to be installed in December 2017 at Park 27. We are continuing to accessorize the dog park and a new five-year recreation plan has been completed and will be submitted to the State of Michigan.  New grants have been submitted for the walking trail at Park 27 and Phoenix Park playground equipment.
