Below is a link to a draft copy of the 2021 Roscommon County Hazard Mitigation Plan from the Roscommon County Board of Commissioners.  This plan has been made available to the public via the County website and has been sent to our local libraries so that copies are available for public viewing.  It has also been sent to our neighboring counties. The open for public comment phase is now open through June 16th, 2021.  At that time, comments will be considered and any necessary adjustments will be made to the plan before sending it off for State and FEMA review.  Once approved by FEMA, the Roscommon County Board of Commissioners will adopt the plan.  Once adopted at the County level, each township will also need to adopt it into their plans to be eligible for pre-disaster grant funding from FEMA.
